Bob Freeman has been the host ("appropriately enough") of the Bob Freeman Show for the past six years. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Bob's rapid-fire mouth has gotten him in trouble throughout his life.
"I've been getting my ass kicked my whole life because of my big mouth," Bob explains. "But at a certain age, I started using humor as a defense mechanism. That way, the bullies were laughing while they pounded my face in, which somehow made the whole experience more pleasurable for both of us."
The Bob Freeman Show started out as a pro-wrestling/MMA
commentary on
FightCity.com, with little or no comedy. Bob decided to change the direction
of the show, however, after some of his friends wanted to make
appearances.
"Most of my friends aren't wrestling fans, but I'm friends with some of
the wackiest people on Earth," the 26-year-old host explains. "I wanted
to bring them on the show, but it's hard to bring a guy called Greg The
Asshole on a wrestling talk show, so I just dropped the wrestling
aspect altogether."
In addition to doing the show, Bob also does promotional work for a
local radio station. He hopes to use this as a springboard into the rodeo
circuit of the Special Olympics.
