Until late 2002, J.P. McCreadie was known as "Casanova" on the show. He gave advice to lovelorn women, flirted with female guests, and was basically an all-around Don Juan. That all changed, however, when McCreadie finally found true love of his own - he tied the knot with his fiancé and has since become the proud parent of two children. Marriage and parenthood may have changed his promiscuous ways, but he has channeled his excess energy into what some view as unpredictable and oft-exploding rage. McCreadie has been known to physically attack guests of the show, often for perceived slights known only to him. Not surprisingly, alcohol consumption plays a role in fueling his fury.
"People have to realize," he explains, "that I am the enforcer and I have all the power, dawg. I've got a wife, two kids, an apartment; I've got all the riches, baby. So if somebody comes at me talking a bunch of mess, I will use all my force to dominate them. And the fact is, I don't give a fuck 'cause I am drunk."
McCreadie's official title on the show is 'the enforcer,' meaning that it's his job to kick out unruly guests. More often than not, however, McCreadie himself becomes the unruly guest and requires restraining, which is easier said than done due to his formidable size. He sits in the back of the studio waiting for trouble, chain-smoking Marlboros and sipping 24-ounce cans of Mickey's malt liquor, and by the end of most episodes, McCreadie is both wired and drunk. This has led to some... shall we say, interesting confrontations.
"If somebody causes problems on the Bob Freeman Show, I will dominate their body and make them suffer," he warns.
